Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour, the Labour Party’s (LP) candidate for governor of Lagos state in 2023, responded after hearing a radio caller advise the host to commend the Lagos state administration for installing lighting. “Yesterday night, i saw streetlights working between Mile 2 and Apapa, and I could not believe I would ever see such in my life time. Please help me thank the government”.
Reacting to the statement that was made by the radio caller, Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour said it is gross incompetence that most important roads in Lagos are covered in darkness without visibility for motorists at night. In the post that he shared on his page, he said it is a shame that the most important economy in the region cannot power streetlights in 2024.
Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour wrote on his page;
“It is gross incompetence that most important roads in Lagos are covered in darkness without visibility for motorists at night. A shame that the most important economy in the region cannot power streetlights in 2024.
