“We are aware that she was summoned to duty in 2001 but choose not to report for duty. I’m not sure why, but using the word “abscond” would imply that something is wrong. I’m not sure what led up to how she started it or concluded it. Despite the fact that she is currently a minister for the federal republic of Nigeria, some people are upset because they believe she is a member of the youth corps. So, the question at hand is: Is there any wrongdoing?

As long as you are under 30, the law requires that you serve the nation as a member of the youth corp after graduating from college or a polytechnic. Despite being undoubtedly young, she has been selected to serve as a minister. Are we going back to the old idea that we shouldn’t be too young to reign now?
