After the Emir of Gobir was abducted and killed, Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra state, declared on his official X account on Wednesday that the terrorists had returned to his domain. According to the former governor of Anambra state, the incident is a sobering sign of how Nigeria’s security apparatus is still failing. According to Peter Obi, terrorists and bandits are currently in control of Nigeria. According to him, the current state of affairs is a national emergency as well as a tragedy.

 

As stated by Peter Obi; “The terrorists returned to the emir’s domain, abducted 150 innocent people, and stole 1,000 cattle, after his brutal murder serves as a grim indication of the continued collapse of our national security infrastructure.
