According to the Vanguard Newspaper, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s media adviser, Bayo Onanuga, has said that the former governor of Anambra State who is the Labour Party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 election intends to punish Tinubu the same way Babangida handled Abiola.

Also, he made it clear that Tinubu and his legal team are prepared to defend the election win and are equally ready to face Obi and his legal team in court.
Recall that major media outlets reported on Tuesday that Mr. Peter Obi had petitioned the electoral tribunal in Abuja, where he questioned the legitimacy of Tinubu and his win in the 2023 presidential election.
To make matters worse, Mr. Obi of the Labour Party is pleading with the tribunal to rule that Tinubu was not legitimately elected by a majority of the votes cast in the election. They want a court order directing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to either retrieve the certificate of return given to Tinubu and provide a new one to Obi, or to declare the election void and hold a new one in which Tinubu, Shettima, and the ruling APC are all barred from running…….
