Renowned PDP leader Dele Momodu has reacted to Senator Adams Oshiomole’s harsh criticism on Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki and his spouse Betsy. Remember that Oshiomhole called the couple “childless” in reaction to the first lady’s remark. Monday Okpebholo, the gubernatorial candidate for the All Progressives Congress, does not have a wife, a point brought up by Obaseki’s wife during her speech at the PDP’s campaign launch at the Ubiaja Township Stadium in Esan South-East Local Government Area.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
“Let us vote for the best candidate in the upcoming election, and I’d like to meet the wife.
In fact, only one of the candidates, Asue Ighodalo from our own party, has a wife. Only he has a wife. Mrs. Ifeyinwa Ighodalo is the wife. Edo women understand that only one candidate has a wife. When a woman is in charge of the government, women do better. All women in Edo, regardless of party, should support the candidate who has a wife. She stated that the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate, Asue Ighodalo, is the only one who can propel us forward.
In response, Oshiomhole claimed that Mrs. Obaseki is unable to comment on other people’s marital status because she and her husband have no children.
Momodu shared his comments on the development via Instagram, saying he was “shocked.” Oshiomhole’s comment left him “mortified,” and he begged for the guts to publicly apologize to Obaseki.
”My beloved Egbon Comrade ADAMS, sir, I have watched this tape endlessly, and to say I am astonished and mortified at how low you descended is an understatement. I hope you will have the fortitude to publicly repent for this terrible outburst. It is not a crime to be childless.
