According to Fufeyin, Tithes And Offering Are Not Compulsory Because We Don’t Depend On It To Develop Christ

The 52-year-old founder of Christ MercyLand Church, also referred to as The Arena of Solution and Power, Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, offered his thoughts on tithes and offerings in the Christian faith in an article published by Vanguard. While tithe and offering are acknowledged as scriptural mandates for the body of Christ, Fufeyin contends that their fulfillment is discretionary and dependent on an individual’s relationship with God. Fufeyin further elaborated that in his church, adherents are not compelled to give tithes and offerings as a mandatory obligation. He explained that his church does not rely on these financial contributions for its development and growth.

Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin said, “Tithe and offering are biblical injunctions for the body of Christ, but their compliance is optional depending on your relationship with God.
