According to a lawyer, several Nigerians who are currently in conflict with British police officers and immigration officials are doing so because their friends supplied the officers information about them.
Dele Olawanle, a Nigerian attorney working in the UK, revealed on his Twitter account @dolawande how he learned that some Nigerians got into difficulties abroad because they spilled a lot of information to their ‘friends,’ who then shared it with the police and immigration officials.

Hence, he issued a warning to individuals who were already in the nation as well as those who would eventually immigrate to the UK, stressing that they may have friends but should be cautious about what they say.
