Manager Mikel Arteta provided an update on Jesus’ recuperation process prior to their away encounter against Crystal Palace in Round 2 of the 2023–24 Premier League, saying, “Jesus has not resumed training, but everyone else is fine.”

Jesus may need a few more weeks to fully recuperate since he hasn’t started working out again. The Brazilian superstar, who joined Arsenal from Man City the previous summer, had 11 goals and 8 assists in 33 games. Eddie Nketiah is currently Arteta’s first choice for the striker position.

Oleksandr Zinchenko received good news from the Spanish coach as well, who said, “He’s training with us, and we hope to have him back in action soon.”

Zinchenko is thought to have participated in a friendly game between Luton and Arsenal that was played behind closed doors and in which the Gunners prevailed 3-0. The Ukrainian defender’s comeback is definitely essential for Arsenal because their newest acquisition, Jurrien Timber, is now out with an injury.
