Otuya explained that the decision was not an easy one but was guided by divine direction and practical considerations.

“God laid it on my heart that my role in ministry is beyond the walls of a single church.”

“I realized I could achieve more by empowering other churches and ministers, especially women who struggle to find their place in ministry,” she said.

She also noted the challenges of maintaining a church amidst Nigeria’s socioeconomic realities.

“Running a church requires more than just spiritual guidance; it demands financial and administrative stability, which has become increasingly difficult for many ministers,” she added.

Speaking on Nigeria’s broader socioeconomic struggles, Otuya observed, “The world is going through a phase, and Nigeria is not isolated.”

“There are many factors at play—God, Satan, and human actions. Nothing happens without God’s knowledge or permission, but humans must recognize their roles in the unfolding events.”

Otuya expressed concern over the pressures on female ministers. “Women in ministry face unique challenges, from societal biases to financial struggles.”

“My goal now is to mentor and support other female ministers through platforms like the KOGA Faith Foundation,” she said.

The bishop emphasized that closing her church does not signify an end to her ministry but rather a shift in focus.

“My calling has always been to build others. By stepping away from leading a single church, I can impact more lives and expand God’s work on a larger scale,” she concluded.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
