Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode recently blasted UK Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch for her recent comments on Nigeria in a statement posted on his official X account. Badenoch, who has Nigerian heritage, described her childhood in Nigeria as overshadowed by fear, insecurity, and corruption.
Her comments brought outrage, with Shettima accusing her of portraying the country in a negative light and questioned her pride in her roots and suggested she remove Kemi from her name if she was ashamed of her Nigerian origin.
In response, Badenoch defended her earlier statement, stating that she was not representing Nigeria or engaging in any public relations for the country.
Reacting to the exchange, Fani-Kayode took to his social media to share his views.
“No you are not and neither do we need or want you to. You are however doing PR for the House Ni*gers Association and the racist, fascist scum that constitutes the far right wing of your adopted country. Do us a favour by shutting your foul mouth, dropping ‘Kemi’ as your name & changing it to ‘Aunty Jemimah’ instead,” Fani-Kayode wrote.
Fani-Kayode dismissed Badenoch’s remarks and stated that Nigeria did not need her opinions and accused her of aligning with far-right groups in her adopted country and suggested she distance herself from her Nigerian identity.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
