After the horrific event in Ahoada West, Rivers State, a man who is grieving the brutal death of his 68-year-old mother has come out. The police have detained the suspect, Ikem ThankGod, popularly known as “Two Man,” in relation to this horrific tragedy and other violent incidents that have occurred in the region.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

In a video shared by SYMFONI TV during a press briefing by the Rivers State Police Command, the man recounted the heartbreaking event. He explained that his mother was killed by Ikem after returning from the farm, leaving him confused about the motive. “I don’t know why he killed my mother. She was an elderly woman, and we had no issues with him. I’m a Christian and had no problems with him,” he said.

He also revealed that Ikem buried his mother after the murder, but with the help of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Ahoada West, her remains were recovered. He expressed gratitude to the police for their efforts in ensuring the suspect was apprehended and brought to justice.

Ikem ThankGod is accused of several crimes in the community, including kidnapping and reportedly burying some victims alive. He is also alleged to have killed a police officer in April, stolen his weapon, and vandalized government properties.

Although the man was not present during the attack, he emphasized that the suspect made no demands, leaving the family puzzled about his intentions. He concluded by commending the police, particularly the Ahoada West DPO, for their swift and effective response.

If not for Ahoada West DPO, the man assisted me and we recovered my mother’s dead body where he buried her.
