Shehu Sani Response After Godwin Emefiele Is Revealed To Be “Top Brass” In 753 Duplexes Seizure

 

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) reported that 753 duplexes that were purportedly owned by former CBN governor Godwin Emefiele had been seized and are now subject to forfeiture. Senator Shehu Sani responded to this information.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

In a post on X, he expressed his surprise and disappointment at the construction of 753 duplexes. He mentioned that this was especially surprising given the recent ASUU strike, during which students were kept at home for months.

 

 

He stated that the government’s claim that there was no money to pay lecturers during the strike was unfortunate. He further noted that the construction of such a large number of duplexes was a clear indication of how the country was being mismanaged.

He wrote, “753 duplexes? At that time when ASUU went on strike and students were kept at home for months because ‘there is no money to pay the lecturers’ It’s unfortunate. That is how the country was mismanaged.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
