Syrian Islamic scholar Abdallah Al-Tamimi, who lives in Australia, has written about Israel’s long-standing attempts to make peace with Arab and Muslim countries. Al-Tamimi highlighted the disparity in military capabilities between Israel and its neighboring Muslim nations, stating that their combined power is less than a quarter of Israel’s. He asserted that seeking peace with Israel is not only a pragmatic choice but also a religious obligation for the countries in the region.

In an interview with AIJAC, he stated, “Israel has been extending its hand in peace to Arabs and Muslims for a long time. The Arabs and Muslims are unable to conquer Israel because the power of the Muslim nations surrounding Israel is not even a quarter or a tenth of the power of Israel and its allies.
