Wike vehemently defended his record in response to charges made by detractors such as political activist Deji Adeyanju, who claimed that he has never offered job opportunities.
“These people who have sworn to ridicule me has it not occurred to them that i’m a job creator?” the minister said, addressing the media. His pointed statement seemed directed at those who have questioned his contributions to economic growth and job creation in the FCT.
Wike demonstrated his administration’s dedication to developing Nigerian young by hiring a sizable number of them on important infrastructure projects throughout the capital. He pointed out that the building of the Judges’ Quarters is one such project that has employed both experienced and unskilled labourers. Another significant project that has produced possibilities for a sizable workforce was the Extension of Arterial Road (N5) to Ring Road III Ancillary, which he also emphasised. The FCT minister uses his audacious comments as a counterargument to those who he believes are out to destroy his reputation. “Allow them to present their proof. Wike declared with assurance, “What I have done speaks louder than their words.”
Wike’s administration has received praise for its emphasis on enhancing Abuja’s infrastructure and generating employment opportunities. His assessment of the Karimu road project is a component of a larger plan to improve connectivity, ease traffic, and promote economic growth in the Federal Capital Territory.
Even while his detractors are still outspoken, it is difficult to overlook the evidence of continuous building projects and job openings. Without a doubt, Wike’s leadership has spurred discussions about accountability and governance, advancing the idea that deeds speak louder than words.
Many will be keeping an eye on the projects to determine if Wike’s vision for the FCT has a real and long-lasting effect on the lives of its citizens. For the time being, he remains steadfast in his will to confront critics and keep fulfilling his commitments.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
