In order to defeat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election, Nigeria’s main opposition parties have been asked to unite by Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church. According to Ayodele, Tinubu would win easily if opposition groups such as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) would not stand together.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
Ayodele stressed in a statement released by his media assistant, Oluwatosin Osho, that the opposition’s greatest opportunity is to put forth a “rugged” and competent candidate as a group. He warned that each party would erode their position and run the risk of losing if they stood by themselves. Ayodele pointed out that the PDP, in particular, should not depend only on Atiku Abubakar, predicting failure if Atiku runs on his own.
Ayodele also criticized PDP’s current governors, saying none of them possesses the necessary strength or capacity to become president in 2027. According to him, without a robust coalition, opposition efforts will be futile. “If PDP, Labour, and NNPP don’t unite, it will be a smooth ride for Tinubu in 2027,” he concluded.
According to DAILY POST reports, Primate Ayodele said, “If PDP decides to field Atiku, it will be a disaster, they will lose the election. If PDP wants to stand alone, they will run into debt and as it stands, there is no sitting governor that has the capacity to become president in PDP, They are not strong enough.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
