Information was obtained indicating that early on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, in the morning hours, the police officers’ car collided head-on with a trailer. Eleven more police officers were hurt in various ways and were taken to the Murtala Mohammad Specialist Hospital, where they are being treated. After the Saturday governorship election in Edo State concluded, the police officers were reportedly making their way back to Kano.
