In his confession, Adeleye admitted to strangling Christiana after she visited his shop to have her phone fixed. According to a report by Vanguard, Adeleye killed Christiana while she was distracted, using his phone.
After the murder, Adeleye left the body in the shop until late at night. At around 11 p.m., he began digging a shallow grave in a small farm behind his house.
Due to fatigue and the soft ground caused by rain, he was unable to complete the digging that night. He continued working on the grave in the early hours of the morning, completing it by dawn.
Once the body was buried, Adeleye contacted Christiana’s mother and falsely claimed she had been kidnapped, demanding a ransom of 360,000 naira, despite Christiana being dead.
In his chilling confession, Adeleye said, “By 11 p.m. that same night, I started to dig her grave in a small farm behind our compound… I continued digging… I did not close my eyes till daybreak.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
