Israel Warns Hezbollah: You’ve Seen Some, We Have Many Capabilities That We Have Not Yet Activated

 

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi stressed during a recent visit to the Northern Command that Israel had “many more capabilities” that have not yet been used in its ongoing fight with Hezbollah, according to Times of Israel. His comments coincide with rising tensions along the border between Israel and Lebanon, where Hezbollah has intensified military operations since hostilities erupted in response to the October 7 Hamas attack.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Halevi stated, “We are very determined to create the security conditions that will bring the residents [of the north] back to their homes, to the towns, with a high level of security, and we are ready to do whatever is required to enable this.” He underscored that the IDF is prepared to activate additional military resources as needed, indicating a readiness for more aggressive operations against Hezbollah if necessary. “We have many capabilities that we have not yet activated… we have seen some of these things, it seems to me that we are well prepared and we are preparing these plans going forward,” he added.

 

 

The IDF has been actively engaged in countering Hezbollah’s threats, which have intensified since the onset of the Gaza conflict. Halevi noted that Israeli forces are strategically targeting Hezbollah’s military infrastructure to mitigate risks to northern Israeli communities.

 

He asserted, “The rule is that every time we reach a certain stage, we have already prepared to move ahead forcefully with the next two steps. At each stage, the cost for Hezbollah should be high.”The backdrop of these developments includes a significant increase in cross-border attacks from Hezbollah, which has launched numerous strikes into northern Israel.
