Exclusive: In Zamfara, soldiers killed Buzu, Turji's boss — Army discloses

In Zamfara State on Thursday, the Nigerian Army’s troops murdered terrorist leader Halilu Buzu and a few of his fighters. Bello Turji, the terrorist leader, was believed to be led by Buzu, who General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defense Staff, promised to apprehend shortly. The Nigerian Army said in a post on X on Friday that although the terrorist leader and his fighters fought back hard, they were ultimately defeated by the army. It said, “On Thursday, September 12, 2024, troops in a planned and carefully organized operation have eliminated a terrorist kingpin, infamously known as Halilu Buzu, and a good number of his fighters in Mayanchi hamlet in a devastating strike.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
