UK Labour Leader Criticises Tinubu's Govt Over The Arrest Joe Ajaero, Presidency Reacts

The administration led by Bola Ahmed Tinubu has responded to criticism from the UK Labour leader regarding the recent arrest of Comrade Joe Ajaero, the President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), by agents of the Department of State Service (DSS).While reacting, Tinubu’s led government made it known that the federal government was wrongly accused of rights abuse, noting the NLC President, Joe Ajaero, was stopped from traveling abroad, after he snubbed the invitation of a law enforcement agency conducting investigation.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Presidency went on and noted that Joe Ajaero probably considers himself above the law, noting that he (Ajaero) was slated to speak at the same conference where the UK TUC leader attacked the Nigerian government.

Presidency made this disclosure in a long post that was made by the Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga. He went on and made it known that under the Constitution of the country, no individual is above the law, thereby reminding the UK Labour Leader, that Nigeria is country governed by law.

He went on and made it known that they are not aware that there is anyone in the United Kingdom or anywhere in Europe and the United States, who will ignore the invitation or summons of MI5 or Scotland Yard or the FBI.

Onanuga went on and reminded them that the former United States President, Donald Trump has been the subject of numerous investigations and prosecutions in courts in several states since he left office. He also noted that Joe Biden’s son, Mr. Hunter Biden, has also been the subject of a lawful investigation by the FBI.
