Ten protestors from the #endbadgovernance# movement were given N10 million bail apiece by the Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday. They were accused of trying to topple President Bola Ahmed Tinubu between July 1 and August 4 of this year. In granting their requests for bail, Justice Emeka Nwite acknowledged them to be on bond. The demonstrators must, among other things, produce one surety in the same amount, and the sureties must be Abuja residents. In addition, the sureties have to be Abuja property owners who swear an affidavit of means and present property records with the court.
