Odogbor pointed out that the increase in the price of premium motor spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, across NNPCL outlets has caused severe hardship for Nigerians.

Reports indicate that fuel prices have surged beyond N1,000 per litre in several parts of the country, leading to widespread frustration among citizens.

He urged President Tinubu to consider reducing the price of petrol to between N300 and N400 per litre, as the current hike has exacerbated difficulties, particularly for those in rural and riverine communities.

According to Odogbor, Nigerians are struggling to cope with the impact of the government’s policies, which have resulted in businesses closing down and companies laying off workers due to rising operational costs.

In a statement, Odogbor said, “Mr. President, the suffering caused by this fuel crisis affects everyone, from senior citizens to persons with disabilities, students, innocent children, and the poor.

I join other concerned Nigerians in urging you to review the price of PMS to between N300 and N400 per litre so that Nigeria’s workforce can be empowered to achieve economic stability and prosperity.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
