Dr. Reuben Abati, a seasoned journalist and former media advisor to former President Goodluck Jonathan, has voiced his displeasure with Nigeria’s present economic difficulties. Abati claims that former president Muhammadu Buhari is probably laughing at the state of the nation while at his hometown of Daura, Katsina State. Speaking on Monday as the primary anchor of Arise TV’s Morning Show, Abati called the current status of the economy a great shame, especially for those from the Southwest, who are frequently thought to be more suited to overseeing Nigeria’s economy.
