Akoko-Edo Residents Stone Oshiomhole and Other Party Chieftains During APC Rally, Which Turns Into Chaos [VIDEO]

 

On Thursday, at an APC gathering in Ososo, Akoko-Edo, locals started throwing stones at party leaders, including former governor Adams Oshiomhole, causing havoc. The rally, which was supposed to help Senator Monday Okpebholo win the next Edo governorship, swiftly descended into violence. Witnesses described an atmosphere of tension that increased after the crowd’s initial outburst. Oshiomhole and other leaders were escorted away as the APC faced backlash over its response to the incident.
