Rivers:Nyesom Wike, They thought we would come begging; let them go and see what’s happening in FCT

Nyesom Wike, a PDP member and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), recently addressed some of his political rivals in Rivers State in an article published by The Sun. Wike challenged his opponents to take a look at what is happening in Abuja. He said if he decides to switch political parties, it would cause a major shake-up, like a tsunami in the political scene. However, he firmly stated that he plans to stay with his current party for now. He also urged his opponents in Rivers State to focus on their own affairs and prepare for the upcoming elections

In Wike’s words: “Don’t bother about their abuses. We have thick skin. We don’t even know what abuse is. So, don’t say anybody is abusing me. If I’m nothing, they will not abuse me.
