He further accused the leadership of the state of amassing wealth and properties through questionable means within Rivers State over the last one year in office. He expressed concerns that the governor’s actions could ignite ethnic tensions, threatening the peace and unity that have long characterized the region. He emphasized that the people of Rivers State would not tolerate any attempts to sow discord or exploit ethnic differences for political gain.

He said in an interview with Channels TV, ”The governor was away on a roller coaster in Europe. He left the state for over two weeks, only to come back and fraternize with protesters. He directed protesters to go to Wike’s house, we will also organize our people to storm his new site in Fortune avenue where he is building on 32 plots of land. So enough is enough. He (Fubara) does not have the capacity to cow anybody here and he knows it.

And we know the properties of he and his cronies in Rivers State and all they feel they have been able to achieve so far. They want to incite ethnic bigotry in Rivers State and we will not allow it. We have lived as one peaceful and United people for many years. Nobody can come here and destroy the peace and stability that we have built over the years. We are either families through marriage or cordial relationship.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
