They’re Shooting”- As Protesters Run For Their Lives Amidst Heavy GUNSHOTS In Lekki, Iyabo Ojo Reacts

Protesters were observed running for cover amid gunshots, suggesting that there is a significant amount of tension in Lagos State, Nigeria’s Lekki neighborhood. The sound of gunfire could be heard in a video that Gossip Mill uploaded and Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo shared on her Instagram page. Reacting to the scary situation, Iyabo Ojo took to the caption of her post to call upon the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and also, the Nigerian police force.

She noted that it’ s a peaceful protest and as such, it’ s the right of the citizens. However, she ended by advising the protesters to stay safe.
