The National Democratic Coalition for the Survival of Nigeria’s coordinator, Dr. Moses Ogidi Paul, related an interview with Peter Obi in which the latter acknowledged the difficulties the Labour Party had encountered during the previous eighteen months, including campaigning, elections, and court cases. Moses Paul shared this in a post on his official X handle, noting Obi’s remarks. Obi highlighted that the party’s journey began about 18 months ago and involved extensive campaigns, elections, and court proceedings.

He pointed out that it is unrealistic to expect him to instantly solve all problems and deliver immediate results.

Quoting Moses Paul, “Peter Obi said, “Mo, we all joined the Labour Party about 18 months ago. We spent the first year on campaigns, elections, and court proceedings.”

“And now, I am expected to become a superman, scattering everything and achieving instant results.”Moses shared that Obi expressed appreciation for the patience and understanding of the “Obidients” and urged them to be the example they wish to see in society.

He shared that facing challenging situations is not new to him and that he feels energized when underestimated for doing the right thing.

He said that Obi assured that doing the right thing is not a sign of weakness and emphasized that humility and patience are virtues, not weaknesses.

He reiterated the importance of a long-term commitment to their cause and encouraged the “Obidients” to walk this path together with faith and perseverance, confident that their efforts will ultimately be rewarded.

Quoting Obi, Moses Paul further wrote, “In fact, this has been my trajectory in life—I am actually energized when people think I am weak and try to walk all over me for doing the right thing.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
