Vanguard reported that Tompolo begged the youth and organizers of the scheduled statewide protest to put it off, pointing out that the administration is making great efforts to address Nigeria’s issues with workable policies.
He said that Nigerians should be patient with the current government, pointing out that the suffering and starvation in Nigeria predate the Tinubu-led government.Quoting him, “You must agree with me that the threat of protest alone has achieved its aim, as Mr. President has said it loud and clear, that he has heard the voice of prospective protesters.”
