The former governor of Anambra state made the announcement on his official X handle on Saturday. In the post that he shared on his page, he said he began the day by attending the funeral service of Late Florence Morenike Saraki. He said after he left the event, he moved to the Kellog Alumni Club of West Africa Business Luncheon at the US Consul General’s Residence. Peter Obi stated that both events went down in Lagos state. He said at the business luncheon, he had the opportunity of interacting with some young talented Nigerians.

“After the funeral service of Late Florence Morenike Saraki, the mother of a former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, in Lagos yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending The Kellog Alumni Club of West Africa Business Luncheon at the US Consul General’s Residence in Lagos. While there, I had the opportunity of interacting with some young talented Nigerians who are also alumni of the Kellog School of Management. The event comprised an interactive session, with one of young Nigeria’s successful entrepreneurs, Tega Oghenejobo, the Chief Operating Officer at Mavin Records, who shared the experiences, challenges and success stories of his entrepreneurship journey.
