In the post that Doyin Okupe shared on his page, he said he has been in politics for 46 years and that his politics did not begin with the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi.
Doyin Okupe said he and Obi decided to work together in the 2023 general elections for a southern presidential candidate. He said he respects Peter Obi’s political ambition and he can never be against it.
Here is what Doyin Okupe wrote on his official page;
“I have been in politics since 1978. That is 46yrs. My politics did not start with Obi. Peter Obi and I agreed to fight for a southern presidential ticket in 2023 because we knew we wont get it in PDP.
