Senator Ali Ndume has come under fire from the Coalition of Northeast Elders Forum for what they see as his lack of accountability and action during President Buhari’s administration. In a statement, the elders expressed their disappointment in Ndume’s failure to effectively address the pressing problems faced by the people in the Northeast.

They raised concerns about the allocation of resources and questioned the impact of these funds on initiatives to support Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the region.

The elders highlighted the importance of leadership in times of crisis and queried Ndume’s contribution towards empowering and assisting vulnerable populations like IDPs.

According to Vanguard, The Elders said, “As concerned elders from the Northeast geo-political zone, we wonder why during the days of President Buhari Senator Ndume chose to be silent amid heightened problems of insecurity; pervasive hunger, looting of public funds and bad governance.
