Speaking in a video recently shared by Daily Trust TV, the eyewitness said a man living in the building noticed a crack the day before the building collapsed and he decided to pack out of the building. She said around 5a.m. the next morning, other residents noticed that the building began to tilt towards one direction. She said some of them left the building and tried to warn their neighbors and at around 7 a.m., the building collapsed.
In her words: “At 5.am some people that are living there said the building started shifting. So some of them left and they tried to notify others who are living there. They knocked at their door, when they were knocking the other ones didn’t answer. So some of them left before the building collapsed but some were still inside.
