SP Edafe: Let Me Make It Clear, We Won’t Accept A Wounded Suspect Who Suffered From Jungle Justice

 

The Delta State Police Command Spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe, has stated that the police will never, under any circumstances, admit a wounded person who has been the victim of jungle justice. Speaking further, the Delta State Police Spokesperson made it known that if the suspect eventually dies due to the beating, those who beat the suspect will be charged for murder.

SP Bright Edafe made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Wednesday evening.

He wrote: “So I was at trend FM today to discuss a different type of jungle justice. Many callers who called refused to yield to my advise and insist that they will beat up a suspected thief black and blue before taking them to the Police Station.

“Let me make it clear, we won’t accept a wounded suspect who suffered from jungle justice in your compound from you. We will accompany you to the hospital where you will have to treat the suspect before we admit the suspect.
