As Tinubu’s Govt Renames National Theatre After Wole Soyinka, Senator Shehu Sani Reacts

 

After President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration renamed National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos, in honor of Nobel laureate Professor Wole Soyinka, former senator Shehu Sani, who stood in for the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, responded.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

While reacting, Shehu Sani made it known that the renaming of the National Art Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos, after Professor Wole Soyinka, is well deserving. He went on and noted that the theatre was built by the former Head of State, Yakubu Gowon, and in 2022, noting that it was renovated with the sum of ₦21 Billion, by the CBN and banker’s committee.

Senator Shehu Sani made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle, while reacting to the report.

Senator Shehu Sani wrote: ” The renaming of The National Arts Theatre Iganmu, Lagos after the Nobel laureate Professor Wole Soyinka is well deserving.
