According to DAILY TRUST, the deceased and his colleagues appeared before the Committee to make presentations on the revenue remittances by the Service when he slumped and died. The report further stated that before he died, he requested for water.
He was quoted as saying that;
“Please, I need water”.
Reacting to the report, the former Kaduna lawmaker stated that the National Assembly should make it a rule to conduct blood pressure test and heart checks for public officials who have been summoned to appear before relevant committees.
