In an interview with Seun Okinbaloye on Mic On Podcast, Sowore stated that the SUV given to the federal lawmakers costs over 100 million naira each and almost all the lawmakers accepted the expensive vehicle. He said the only people he knew of who rejected the SUV were some young lawmakers from the northern part of the country. He said one of the lawmakers who rejected the vehicle was the son of former Governor Nasir El-Rufai.
Sowore suggested that the money spent on these luxury vehicles could be used in better ways to benefit the country and its people.
