Clark, who is the leader of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) and the Southern and Middle Belt Leaders Forum (SMBLF), asserted that Wike should remain focused on his responsibilities in Abuja and refrain from interfering in the affairs of the current Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara.

“Wike should remain focused and concentrate in the nation’s Capital because he has a lot to do and leave Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara and the people of the state alone,” Clark said.

The respected South-South leader accused Wike and his predecessor, Rotimi Amaechi, of being the “masterminds of what he described as politics of madness in Rivers State.”

He recounted past incidents of political turmoil in the state, including the forceful impeachment attempt against former governor Amaechi.

When asked about attempts to settle the apparent feud between Wike and Fubara, Clark questioned whether they were even quarreling in the first place.

He attributed the situation to “egocentricism” and the notion of “I made you the governor of the state and you must worship me.”

Clark expressed the view that Fubara’s stance of worshiping God rather than a human being is justified, even though Wike was instrumental in his emergence as governor.

Regarding the recent defection of Rivers State House of Assembly members from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), Clark criticized the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for failing to conduct by-elections to fill the resulting vacancies within the constitutionally mandated 90-day period.

As he reflects on his legacy, Clark expressed a desire to be remembered as a “foremost Nigerian who believed in Nigeria, who believed in equality in this country, who believed that no one in Nigeria should be regarded as a superior person against the other.”

He also appealed for forgiveness from those he may have offended during his decades of service to the country.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
