President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emphasized the need for a shift in the nation’s values in order to address the economic and security difficulties facing the country, according to The Nation News. In honor of the Eid-el-Kabir festival, Tinubu made these remarks on Monday night as he was receiving a delegation from the National Assembly. Godswill Akpabio, the president of the Senate, led the delegation. To overcome the nation’s current problems, Tinubu urged its people to adopt a new perspective on Nigeria. It is difficult for certain citizens to shed their rent-seeking mentality and contribute more to the economy. Smuggling and other forms of economic sabotage must end. Why are they demolishing rail lines, stealing electricity wires, and undermining the economy? We have to support the movement to alter our moral compass.
