In a video that Moses paul shared on his official X handle, Peter Obi could be seen appreciating the young man for the kind gesture.

However, after Moses Paul shared the video on his page, he said;

“Samuel, a young man with a Nigerian heritage, had never set foot in his ancestral homeland, but his heart beats with a passion for his roots. From his home in Washington DC, he had followed the inspiring journey of Mr. Peter Obi, a champion of change and development. When he learned that Mr. Obi would be addressing a prestigious gathering at the Wilson International Center for Scholars, Samuel knew he had to be there. But for Samuel, the highlight was the opportunity to meet Mr. Peter Obi and contribute to his continued work. With a cheque in hand, Samuel waited eagerly to present his support, a symbol of his belief in the power of collective action to shape a brighter future for Nigeria”.
