Athan Achonu who made such statement during an interview with Arise News few minutes ago, spoke about the election tribunal judgement that announced Hope Uzodimma as the winner of the Imo state Governorship election, as he stated that he knew that something was wrong when they sent the same judge that presided over Kano State governorship election tribunal to Imo State.
Speaking further, the Labour Party chieftain stated that it is time for Nigeria to have a female president because women are the solution to the problems of the country, adding that the men that have been ruling over the years have done nothing better.
Athan Achonu then stated that;
“The only person who has refused bribery in the electoral process is a woman, Nnena Otti in Abia State.”
