Pro-Africanist Fred Eno, a former special assistant to late Chief MKO Abiola, described his experience of being jailed following the June 12 polls in an interview with Channels Television. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

He talks about being sent to the Department of State Services (DSS) detention facility in Abuja, where he spent three months in a segregated cell without access to even the most basic necessities, including toothbrushes, clean clothes, or a place to bathe.

He then mentioned being transferred to a conventional prison, with some detainees being moved to various locations such as Kaduna, Bama, and himself to Enugu. Eno states that he spent a total of one year and ten months in detention.

“We were taken to DSS detention facility where we (including Late Chief Kokori and Prince Adeniji-adele) were kept in separate cells. For three months or thereabouts, in the DSS cell in Abuja, we didn’t have a bath, we didn’t have a change of clothes, no toothbrush, so you stayed with what you had.

“That’s how that transition happened and from then on we were moved to the Conventional prison. Again, we were flown, I understand they moved the others to Kaduna, Bama. I was taken to Enugu. I spent a year and 10 months” CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
