Obi was chastised by Sowore for his suggestion that the federal government tax the wealthy, citing the fact that the same wealthy group profits from the increase in electricity tariffs. In response to claims that Sowore was a sellout, Farotimi defended him by pointing out that facing persecution from the government runs counter to the idea of being a paid agent.
In a post on his page, Sowore expressed his disagreement with Obi’s proposal and criticized his approach to policymaking. Sowore’s comments sparked reactions from followers, one of whom labeled him a sellout. In response, Farotimi defended Sowore, stating that disagreement with his views doesn’t warrant labeling him as a sellout.
