Expressing deep discomfort with the notion that violence is inherent to Islam, Sheikh Taofeeq Akeugbagold emphasized his extensive study of Islam, asserting that it unequivocally prohibits acts of violence. He reiterated that the Quran does not justify murder in any circumstance.

He remarked, “Where in the holy Quran has Almighty Allah told anyone to kill for insulting the Quran?”

Where does Almighty Allah order the death of someone who insults the holy Quran in the Quran?
