He said in an interview with TVC, ”There are people who are principled and they can’t believe what is happening. They were here before we gave him [Fubara] the ticket and they worked for him. They told him [Fubara] you are not better than us but our boss said let us allow you to run. They could also aspire to be governor. If I had supported any of them, they would have emerged as governor.
Speaking about his regret over supporting the governor, he said, ”You see politics is more dangerous like in business. Sometimes you may invest in business and it will result to loss, will you kill yourself? It’s not every political investment that you make that you will reap from there. I don’t think about this loss, I’m focused in Abuja.”
The Rivers State House of Assembly headed by Honourable Martins Amaewhule has threatened to impeach Governor Siminalayi Fubara after claiming that the governor did not heed the resolution made by the President.
