Benjamin Kalu wrote on his verified Facebook page: “Yesterday, the Nigerian delegation to the 148th Inter-Parliamentary Union engaged in bilateral discussions with the officials of the World Trade Organization, led by the Director-General, our very own Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala at the WTO headquarters.”
He added; “Our discussions centered on the challenges facing the African trade market and possible avenues for resolving them. We assured the World Trade Organization that the parliament will proactively proffer legislative measures, to promote trade enhancement in Nigeria and across the African continent.”
