Why Don’t you concentrate on your spiritual work? Why are you dabbling into politics?– NNPP chieftain Disclosed to Ayodele

In a statement that was sent to DAILY POST on Saturday, Oguntoyinbo gave this counsel and expressed shock at the cleric’s most recent comments. He questioned Ayodele’s reasoning for getting involved in politics and advised him to stay true to his spiritual calling.

The NNPP chieftain’s reaction stemmed from Ayodele’s earlier comments predicting that the NNPP candidate in the Edo State governorship election, Azembe Arena, would not achieve significant success. Ayodele cautioned that Arena would only waste his resources if he persisted in his political ambitions.

Expressing concern over Ayodele’s involvement in political predictions, Oguntoyinbo urged the cleric to focus on his spiritual responsibilities instead. He emphasized that the NNPP candidate had not solicited spiritual or financial assistance from Ayodele, questioning the cleric’s decision to intervene in political matters.

Oguntoyinbo warned Ayodele against compromising his spiritual integrity by delving into politics, emphasizing the importance of maintaining respect and credibility as a spiritual leader. He encouraged Ayodele to prioritize his spiritual duties, suggesting that involvement in politics could tarnish his reputation.

Oguntoyinbo said, “Our candidate has not come to you to solicit for help, whether spiritual or financial, while narrowing down on Azemhe. Why don’t you concentrate on your spiritual work? Why are you dabbling into politics?

“You will do well to keep to your job as a spiritual person. If you drag yourself into politics, you will be dragged into the mud and you won’t have any more respect.

“As a spiritual leader, there is an avalanche of work to do, but you leave that and concentrate on our candidate. How does it concern you if he loses his money? Did God send you to tell him that?”. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
