Faduyile responds after Akinterinwa said before Akeredolu died, he endorsed him as governor of Ondo

Former Nigerian Medical Association President and candidate for governor of Ondo State, Professor Dayo Faduyile, has reacted to statements made by Wale Akinterinwa, the former Ondo State Commissioner for Finance. In a TVC interview, Faduyile expressed skepticism, stating that anyone can make such claims. He emphasized the absence of Akeredolu or a witness to confirm the endorsement. Faduyile quipped that he could claim Akeredolu endorsed and prayed for him in the privacy of his bedroom, questioning who would be able to dispute it.

In Faduyile’s words: “I think anybody can say anything. The truth about it is that it takes two to tangle, in this respect the second person is not there to confirm it and there is no witness around. Well, I can tell you too that Akeredolu called me to the closet of his bedroom and told me this thing and prayed for me. Who will say it is not right?
