Dr. Olusegun Mimiko responded to Governor Akeredolu’s passing on his official X, formerly Twitter, profile.

Dr. Mimiko grieved for the late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu among a number of other well-known national figures.

“I join millions of Nigerians and indeed Ondo State residents in mourning Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, my successor and friend for many years, who just transited after a protracted health challenge.” Said, Dr Mimiko.

The former governor enjoined all people of Ondo State to shed all toga of partnership and sentiments to mourn late Governor Akeredolu.

He said future that, late Akeredolu has done his bit and left this shores for good.

“Aketi has done his bit and left this shores for good. We all must endeavour, for all that life is worth, to do our best to honour is memory…” Dr Mimiko said.
