The Delta PRO stated he was walking when he saw some police officers from one of the tactical squads with some people in a post on his official Twitter page. He claimed that he parked and inquired about the situation after noticing them. The lads wanted to do Christmas for the officers, he added, but he declined since he didn’t want them to claim they were extorted by Nigerian Police officers.
He wrote on his page, “Took a stroll around the metro today, and I saw some policemen from one of the tactical teams with about two vehicles and some guys, I parked and asked what the problem was, and they said the boys wanted to do Christmas for them, which the guys seconded. I sha refused and asked them to leave immediately, I waited until the guys drove off. I no dey for I was extorted on Christmas day or anything like that biko. Merry Christmas family”.
